About Us
42CreativeSpace purpose is to create spaces that nurtures creativity. We use “the arts” as the vehicle to build community and have fun.
As a licensed art educator for grades K–12, I’ve taught in charter, private, and public schools, and coached basketball for years. 42 Creative Space was created to combine these passions art and sports into a space where we can grow, learn, and create.
Our Mission
42 Creative Space uses sports and the arts to build community, teach life skills, and foster creativity. We help develop confidence, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving skills, and a love for learning all while having fun.
Every program encourages creativity, collaboration, and lifelong growth. From visual art to basketball. We believe creativity is not just what you make it’s how you think, move, share, and grow together.
Why Art and Sports?
Art and sports offer powerful ways to learn and grow.
Art teaches critical thinking, empathy, and problem-solving. It invites us to see new perspectives, engage with diverse cultures, and express ourselves in meaningful ways. From large murals to personal creations, art strengthens memory, communication, and social confidence.
Sports, like basketball, build discipline, teamwork, leadership, and resilience. Students learn to embrace challenges, face the fear of failure, and celebrate success in a supportive environment.
Together, art and sports provide the tools to thrive in an accessible and welcoming environment where everyone can grow.
